NORTH NOWRA CAMBEWARRA CRICKET CLUB

North Nowra Cambewarra Cricket Club started from humble beginnings evolving from the North Nowra Tavern playing lower grades in the late 80's to entering its first junior teams in the 1990-91 competition with 3 teams reaching the finals series. Norths then stepped up under the guidance of club founder Noel Goodger entering teams into the senior grade before making a bold move of entering the 1st grade competition in the 1994-95 season, this was a bold move as no new teams had entered this division in the 34 years prior to this. 

Norths Juniors have always been successful, although the senior club took some time to catch up not winning its first premiership until the 2007-08 season with 3rd Grade taking out the Premiership under now Life Member Graham Lowbridge. 

Norths is now the home to many premierships both Junior and Senior and have been lucky enough to celebrate all senior teams making finals series for a number of year. This has also seen the club reach new heights taking out the Association Club Championship 2 years running in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. This and all of our successes were celebrated by many members, players past and present, family, friends and contributors at the 30th Anniversary held in February 2022, with full details found in our 30th Anniversary booklet.
